Welcome to the Lake Cabin!

This page is for our family and friends who would like to stay at the Lake Cabin! It has lots of helpful info and a way to check date availability. We believe that time spent with loved ones away from our daily lives is essential to strong marriages and families and this Lake Cabin is the perfect place to do that! We especially believe this is a blessing is to be shared and we hope you will love the Lake Cabin as much as we do!

Directions

PLEASE NOTE!

  • You will loose cell service for about 15-20 minutes at the end of the drive.

  • You must print directions or know how to get there before you leave - you cannot rely on cell service for directions.

  • The last 3 miles are dirt road.

  • You will need 4WD or chains for winter/spring access.

Cabin Address and directions will be given once you’ve scheduled. Plan for a 2.5 hour drive to Prescott area. The Cabin is near Walker Rd & Senator Hwy.

Locks

All the doors have keyless locks. The code will be give to you after you schedule your dates!

Parking

We recommend parking on the cement parking pad. It is easiest to reverse into the gravel parking area to turn around when leaving.

Check Out

From Memorial Day to the Beginning of August, professional cleaners come weekly on Wednesday afternoons. Please complete the check out instructions below.

Summer Check Out Instructions

Beds Leave used bed UNMADE.

We have a Leave No Trace (of Food) Policy We have worked hard to get the Lake Cabin mouse free and would like to keep it that way.

  • Sweep Wood Floors

  • Please take all your food home with you.

  • Load the dishwasher. Please leave the sink clean and free from any food waste. Food waste should be thrown in the trash. Due to our septic system, the disposal may be used only for tiny residual food waste left in the sink from doing dishes.

  • Leave no crumbs. Please wipe down counters, table, chairs and stools.

Trash

  • Empty trash cans in all 3 bathrooms and kitchen. Put all trash in the trash can in the Garage. DO NOT put the trash can outside.

Close all windows and lock all doors.

Off Season (August-May) Check Out Instructions

Option 1: Professional cleaners come after your stay. Please complete the check out listed under “Summer Check Out Instructions”. We ask that you pay a cleaning fee of $100.

  • Wash and Fold used sheets. Put them back in the closet of the room where they belong.

  • Put away air mattresses, sofa and Murphy bed.

  • Wipe down nightstands.

Bathrooms

  • Sanitize bathroom counters and toilet.

  • Clean showers/bathtubs.

  • Sweep floor.

Living Room/Garage

  • Wipe off couches with damp rag if necessary and replace cushions.

  • Wipe down game tables and coffee/side tables.

  • Vacuum and sweep.

  • Sweep fireplace if needed.
